Baseball Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to the Lawndale Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lawndale, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Firebaugh will head out to face off against Arroyo at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lawndale, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Dominguez at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
