Volleyball Recap: Cedartown Comes Up Short

Cedartown suffered their biggest defeat since August 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Unity Christian Lions. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Cedartown ultimately came up short, they really made Unity Christian work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Cedartown and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Unity Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Cedartown will take on Haralson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Unity Christian, they will challenge Hearts Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
