Softball Recap: Lamar County Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lamar County walked away with it. They came out on top against the Tharptown Wildcats by a score of 8-4 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Lamar County's win bumped their record up to 20-18. As for Tharptown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-22 record this season.

Lamar County has already played their next contest, a 14-9 defeat against Belgreen on the 5th. As for Tharptown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against Sumiton Christian on the 5th.
