Volleyball Recap: Concordia Gets the Win

Concordia took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Marshall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Fighting Orioles won by a set and slipped past the Owls 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fighting Orioles have posted since September 8th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Concordia got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 20-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-11.

The victory made it two in a row for Concordia and bumps their season record up to 6-6-1. As for Marshall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Concordia has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Crest Ridge on the 25th. As for Marshall, they will welcome Chillicothe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
