Tooele and Stansbury are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Buffaloes will be playing at home against the Stallions at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tooele is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Tooele is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Cyprus just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 7-6.

Meanwhile, Stansbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Bountiful, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Stallions were not able to get on the board.

Stansbury saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Klairity Vargas, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Tooele's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Stansbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tooele hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like Stansbury struggles in that department as they've averaged .370. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
