Volleyball Recap: New Hampstead Comes Up Short

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Liberty County Panthers. The Phoenix were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While New Hampstead had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

New Hampstead's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Liberty County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Hampstead will square off against Warner Robins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Phoenix's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Liberty County, they will face off against Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
