Pembroke Pines Charter's game on Wednesday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 44-43 victory over the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs. The win was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pembroke Pines Charter was led to victory by Khaila Sprouse and Madison Ojeda. Sprouse posted 19 points, while Ojeda earned 15 points.

Pembroke Pines Charter is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Cardinal Gibbons, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars challenge the Mater Academy Charter Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they will venture away from home to challenge Piper at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th.
