Soccer Game Preview: Lewis-Palmer vs. Cheyenne Mountain

The Lewis-Palmer Rangers are taking a road trip to square off against the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lewis-Palmer's offense. They lost 3-0 to Air Academy on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Cheyenne Mountain was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Lutheran finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Cheyenne Mountain's goal came courtesy of Madi Pittman, who's now up to eight this season.

Lewis-Palmer's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-4-2. Cheyenne Mountain's draw gives them a new season record of 6-4-2.
