Glen Spencer gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Monday. He did his part (and then some), striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits for the 'W'. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Spencer's strong effort led KIPP Atlanta Collegiate over Washington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
