Soccer Recap: Ursuline Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Ursuline was not quite South Range's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Raiders. Ursuline were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Range apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ursuline has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season. As for South Range, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ursuline will venture away from home to square off against Marlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marlington's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Ursuline's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Range, they are taking a road trip to take on Brookfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
