Football Recap: Kennedy Fighting Irish vs. Valencia Tigers
Kennedy lost against Valencia back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kennedy Fighting Irish were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Valencia Tigers. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Kennedy still got an impressive performance from Mackenzie Connely, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown. Connely showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Valencia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
