Football Recap: Thorndale's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thorndale can now relate to. They lost 35-14 to the Ganado Indians on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since September 5th.

Case McDaniel threw for 37 yards on four of 11 attempts. Will Cloud was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Hudson Thigpen rushed for 37 yards.

Landyn Arriaga continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ganado, rushing for 122 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 148 yards and one TD. Arriaga has been hot, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

The loss snapped Thorndale's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-4 record. As for Ganado, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Thorndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ganado, they will take on Refugio on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
