Volleyball Recap: M.L. King Takes a Loss

M.L. King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Park Panthers. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

M.L. King's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Forest Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-17 record this season.

M.L. King wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Jackson on the 23rd. As for Forest Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Langston Hughes on the 25th.
