Softball Game Preview: Greene County Rams vs. Saydel Eagles

The Greene County Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Saydel Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Greene County is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Tuesday. They came up short against Grand View Christian, falling 11-3.

Meanwhile, Saydel lost 20-5 to Prairie City-Monroe on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Saydel, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Greene County got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in June of 2025 against Saydel by a conclusive 11-3 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
