Football Recap: Manual Arts Skates Past Brio College Prep with Ease

Manual Arts never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 32-0 win over the Brio College Prep Olympians. The Toilers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jasmine Mateos had a dynamite game, picking up 60 receiving yards and one score, while also throwing for 60 yards and three TDs. Another pass catcher making a difference was Eurise Flowers, who picked up 40 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The victory made it two in a row for Manual Arts and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manual Arts will take on Los Angeles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brio College Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Simon Tech at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
