Football Recap: Sulligent Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sulligent played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Hamilton Aggies, falling 55-6. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Aggies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Johnwil Spruiel threw for 43 yards on four of 11 attempts. On the ground, Quentin Roberts rushed for 60 yards and one score.

Mason Holloway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hamilton, throwing for 252 yards and five TDs on only 18 passes, while also rushing for 35 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Eli Harris, who gained 139 total yards and a touchdown.

Sulligent's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hamilton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sulligent will host Lamar County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fultondale at 7:00 p.m.
