Volleyball Recap: Thief River Falls Comes Up Short

Thief River Falls was the 2-1 winner over Roseau when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Prowlers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 16-25, 25-13, 25-22.

Thief River Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Roseau, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Thief River Falls and Roseau should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Prowlers (ranked 115th) will meet Fosston (ranked 257th) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Roseau will square off against Lake of the Woods at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (74 vs. 274).
