Baseball Recap: Kirtland Central Takes a Loss

Kirtland Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Uintah Utes, falling 11-1. If the Broncos were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Utes when the teams met back in March of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kirtland Central now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Uintah, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Kirtland Central has already played their next match, an 8-7 victory against Smoky Hill on the 22nd. As for Uintah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 loss against Provo on the 25th.
