Somerset Academy Losee's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sunrise Mountain Miners as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Emily Erbes paced Somerset Academy Losee's offense, picking up eight kills. Erbes got some help from Ava Jones-Deleon and her 25 assists. Erbes and Jones-Deleon didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Somerset Academy Losee's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Sunrise Mountain, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
