Soccer Recap: Wylie Takes a Loss

Wylie lost to Cooper back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Wylie came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Cooper are ranked 449th).

Wylie's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Cooper, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-2.

Looking ahead, Wylie will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Legacy at 7:00 p.m. As for Cooper, they will head out to take on Abilene H at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
