Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Pewaukee unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Middleton Cardinals. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2015.

Pria Tolat paced Pewaukee's offense, picking up ten kills. Tolat got some help from Hannah Padilla and her 14 assists. Finally, Kennedy Tisdale kept Pewaukee's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Pewaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 25-13. As for Middleton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.

Pewaukee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Valders on the 18th. As for Middleton, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Luxemburg-Casco on the 18th.
