Jackson Academy proved they can win big  last Tuesday (they won by 12) and  on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Snook Christian Academy  14-13. Winning may never get old, but Jackson Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
The team  relied heavily on  Huntley Dees, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Three bases. while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  hits. The team also got some help courtesy of  Willie Dixon, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Dees wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Jackson Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  games.
Jackson Academy's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Snook Christian Academy, they now  have a losing record of 5-6.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Snook Christian Academy beat Jackson Academy by a score of  7-0 on Tuesday.
