Baseball Game Preview: MISL CTX Crusaders vs. San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines

The MISL CTX Crusaders will take on the San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Friday just wasn't the day for MISL CTX's offense. They lost 9-0 to Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes Gold two weeks ago. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

MISL CTX saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TJ Staley, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Meanwhile, San Antonio HomeSchool fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Pleasanton on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5.

MISL CTX's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8-2.
