Soccer Recap: Providence Hall Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Providence Hall was not quite Union's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Providence Hall were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Union apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Providence Hall is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Providence Hall didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Juan Diego Catholic on the 21st. As for Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against South Summit on the 19th.
