Recap: Delaware Valley Warriors vs. Whitehall Zephyrs
The Delaware Valley Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Whitehall, posting a 56-27 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Delaware Valley who now have ten in a row.
Ryder Machado was his usual excellent self, rushing for 252 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. Logan Olsommer was another key contributor, throwing for 210 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Delaware Valley's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Jacob Albaugh was the leader with two sacks.
Delaware Valley has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 10-3 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points per game. As for Whitehall, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
Delaware Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whitehall also has no future games currently scheduled.
