Volleyball Preview: Long County Blue Tide vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers

The Long County Blue Tide will venture away from home to square off against the Bradwell Institute Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Last Thursday, Long County had just enough and edged Groves out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Tide.

In the three sets Long County was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 25-0, 15-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bradwell Institute, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Tattnall County out 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bradwell Institute got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 20-25, 15-10.

Bradwell Institute was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted was before the start of last season.
