Basketball Recap: North Gaston Wildcats vs. Huss Huskies
North Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Huss Huskies, falling 75-29. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 520th, while the Huskies are ranked 75th).
Despite the loss, North Gaston still got an impressive performance from Sai White, who posted 11 points.
Huss found their leader in sophomore Jaleila Littlejohn, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards.
