Softball Game Preview: South Garner Titans vs. Rosewood Eagles

The South Garner Titans will face off against the Rosewood Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. South Garner is looking for their season's first win.

South Garner lost 17-4 to Clayton on Friday.

South Garner saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chyenne Epps, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Kimmya Leach, who scored a run and stole Two bases.

Meanwhile, Rosewood's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Thursday. They fell just short of C.B. Aycock by a score of 4-3. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kodee Jensen and Kaitlyn Vernon stepped up to the plate in a big way. Jensen went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI, while Vernon scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rosewood, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
