Volleyball Recap: Castle Park's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Castle Park dropped to 17-9 on Friday, ending the team's four-match streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Mar Vista Mariners by a score of 3-2. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mariners earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

As for Mar Vista, their record now sits at 9-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 13th.

Anissa Smith had a dynamite game, getting 16 digs, 15 kills, and five aces. Those 15 kills gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sephril Vismonte, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Castle Park has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Montgomery on the 22nd. As for Mar Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Chula Vista on the 21st.
