Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Jasper Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Lakeland lost, don't look at Addison Meeker. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jasper, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-12-1 record.

Lakeland has already played their next contest (against Sherwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jasper, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Billings on the 11th.
