Boise had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Centennial Patriots a 4-0 shutout. Given Boise's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Centennial are ranked 45th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Boise hit Centennial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rosdith Nkalu, Hudson Faull, Xabi Robertson, and Meyer Smith.

Boise's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Centennial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
