Baseball Recap: Langley Takes a Loss

The Langley Saxons didn't have quite enough to beat the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets on Saturday and fell 5-3.

Langley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Osbourn Park, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Langley and Osbourn Park will both be playing Potomac Falls the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will host the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, while the Saxons will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
