Volleyball Game Preview: Eureka Tornadoes vs. Eudora Cardinals

The Eureka Tornadoes will venture away from home to take on the Eudora Cardinals at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

On Monday, Eureka was able to grind out a solid victory over Altoona-Midway, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Eureka was: they took both sets by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Eudora made easy work of Baldwin on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eudora took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-12.

Eureka's record is now 12-14. As for Eudora, their record now sits at 20-9.

Eureka came up short against Eudora in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Tornadoes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
