Baseball Recap: Mcquaid Jesuit Finds Home Field Redemption Against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute

There's no place like home for McQuaid Jesuit, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders by a score of 9-4 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Marauders last Friday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Joey Mistretta looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Thomas Bailey, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those hits were his first of the season. Zach Craib was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

McQuaid Jesuit was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute only posted a batting average of .231.
