Football Game Preview: Kittatinny Regional Cougars vs. Hackettstown Tigers

The Kittatinny Regional Cougars will square off against the Hackettstown Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Kittatinny Regional 13.6, Hackettstown 15) so any points scored will be well earned.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kittatinny Regional and Wallkill Valley, and Kittatinny Regional kept the tradition alive. The Cougars slipped by the Rangers 14-13 on Friday.

Jack Brex continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 107 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 100 yards and one TD. Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hackettstown). They blew past North Warren Regional, posting a 55-26 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won six in a row.

Kittatinny Regional's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hackettstown, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
