Gretna had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Lily Zimmerman did her part to make it eight on Thursday. Everything went the Dragons' way against the Lincoln Northwest Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Zimmerman, who had 19 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Lincoln Northwest lost, don't look at Lilly Keifer. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two assists.

Gretna's victory bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Lincoln Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-26 record this season.

As of now, neither Gretna nor Lincoln Northwest have any future games scheduled.
