Voorhees might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to North Hunterdon, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Gill St. Bernard's never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Warren Hills Regional 7-0. Considering the Knights have won three matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

With the win, Gill St. Bernard's broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Voorhees, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Voorhees came up short against Gill St. Bernard's in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 12-8. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
