Softball Game Preview: Crescent City Raiders vs. St. Joseph Academy Flashes

The Crescent City Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Joseph Academy Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crescent City has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight defeats, while St. Joseph Academy will come in with three straight victories.

Crescent City came up short against Seabreeze on Monday, falling 29-14. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (12), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

Macy Stuckey led a balanced group of hitters, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Ayrianna Back also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy had just enough and edged out Old Plank Christian Academy 13-12 on Thursday.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for St. Joseph Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Crescent City suffered a grim 20-0 defeat to St. Joseph Academy in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
