Gehlen Catholic's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South O'Brien Wolverines a 15-0 shutout. The Jays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Gehlen Catholic's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6. As for South O'Brien, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Gehlen Catholic and South O'Brien will both be playing Harris-Lake Park the next time they take the field. The Wolverines will host the Wolves on Thursday, while the Jays will head out to face them on Friday.
