Softball Recap: Exeter-West Greenwich Comes Up Short

Exeter-West Greenwich fell victim to Tiverton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Scarlet Knights in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Exeter-West Greenwich's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Tiverton, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Exeter-West Greenwich will take on Rogers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tiverton, they will challenge Times Squared Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.71 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
