Football Game Preview: Seiling Wildcats vs. Okeene Whippets

Seiling is a perfect 5-0 against Okeene since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Whippets at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after five games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

Seiling is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Dewar, who was ranked eighth at the time (Seiling was ranked first). The Wildcats took down the Dragons 62-44 on Friday. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Okeene blew past Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, posting a 58-12 victory. Fans of the Whippets have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Seiling's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Okeene, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-0.

Everything went Seiling's way against Okeene when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Seiling made off with a 54-28 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Whippets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
