Baseball Recap: Broadalbin-Perth Victorious

Broadalbin-Perth let Glens Falls stack four runs on them in the fifth inning on Monday but luckily Broadalbin-Perth prevailed anyway. The Patriots walked away with an 8-5 win over the Indians. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Garrett Jackowski was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Broadalbin-Perth: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Maddox Nichani, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.

Broadalbin-Perth's record is now 11-6. As for Glens Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Broadalbin-Perth will look to defend their home field on Saturday against La Salle Institute at 7:00 p.m. As for Glens Falls, they will head out to take on Schuylerville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
