Basketball Game Preview: North Oconee Titans vs. McDonough Warhawks

The North Oconee Titans will take on the McDonough Warhawks on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Oconee comes in on 26 and McDonough on five.

North Oconee is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They snuck past Mays with a 64-59 win.

Westminster typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday McDonough proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 65-56.

North Oconee's victory was their 32nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for McDonough, their win bumped their record up to 25-5.

North Oconee skirted past McDonough 51-48 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will North Oconee repeat their success, or does McDonough have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
