Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Ridge Rams vs. Cypress Creek Cougars

Cypress Ridge is on a three-game streak of home losses, Cypress Creek a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Cypress Ridge Rams will host the Cypress Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Cypress Ridge lost 61-36 to Memorial on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1077th, while the Mustangs are ranked 218th).

Meanwhile, Cypress Creek ended up a good deal behind Cypress Falls on Saturday and lost 58-41.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Cypress Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 6-20.
