Softball Recap: Wabash Find Success

While Wabash put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Southern Wells. The Apaches came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 1-0. The Apaches haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Kalli Davis, who gave up just four hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep Southern Wells off the board. Davis has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Wabash saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlynn Honeycutt, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Andi Conliff also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Wabash's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Southern Wells, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wabash beat the Raiders by a score of 10-1 later that day.
