Volleyball Recap: University Gets the Win

University not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26, 2024. They blew past the Boone Braves 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won five in a row.

While University won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 27-25.

University's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Boone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Nona at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. Boone also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. Freedom will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Boone surely won't give up without a fight.
