Basketball Recap: Pleasant Home Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Central came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Pleasant Home, but Dillan Purifoy wouldn't allow it. The Pleasant Home Eagles blew past the Central Jaguars 66-39 on Saturday thanks in part to Purifoy, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 23 boards. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Jackson Hawkins, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Hawkins is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carson Baxley, who posted eight points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Dean, who had eight points and ten rebounds.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points per game.
