Basketball Game Preview: BASIS Red Giants vs. DC International Dragons

BASIS hasn't had much luck against DC International recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The BASIS Red Giants will venture away from home to square off against the DC International Dragons at 7:00 p.m. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Timothy Chamberlain II and Gavin Moore.

BASIS is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Capital City Public Charter School, falling 75-39.

Meanwhile, DC International waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

BASIS's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for DC International, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

BASIS might still be hurting after the 72-51 loss they got from DC International in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can BASIS avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
