Basketball Recap: Truckee Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Truckee kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Churchill County Greenwave, falling 61-28. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Calin Anderson went supernova For Churchill County., shooting 73% from the field on his way to 16 points and four steals. Those 73% field goal percentage gave Anderson a new career-high. Wyatt Peek was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Coming up, Truckee will face off against Futures at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Churchill County, they will host Moapa Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
