Baseball Recap: Red Oak Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Amarillo, Red Oak was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Martin Warriors, sneaking past 4-2.

Red Oak now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Martin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Red Oak will challenge Rockwall-Heath at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Rockwall-Heath's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Red Oak's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Martin, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
